SortSentry support
Need help with a rule, an organized file, or your purchase? Email support@wddigi.com.
Start safely
- Open Watched folders, select Add folder, and choose a personal folder.
- Check your rules and their destinations. Rules run from top to bottom; the first match wins.
- Select Preview files to inspect the plan. Files stay in place while preview is on.
- Select Start organizing and confirm when the plan looks right.
Restore a file
Open Activity and select Undo. Search and page through the journal to find older actions. For several actions on one file, undo the latest first. SortSentry will not overwrite an occupied original path or undo a file whose contents have changed.
A file is not moving
Check whether preview or pause is on, the folder is available, and the rule is enabled. Free runs up to three active rules; regex and schedules require Pro. Only files directly inside a watched folder are monitored. Locked files are retried. Temporary downloads, system files, linked folders, and online-only files are skipped. Make a local copy of online-only files you want to organize.
Schedules
Daily and weekly schedules use your PC’s local time and run while SortSentry is running. A missed daily run can catch up later the same day. Weekly rules run on the selected day. Opt into startup in Settings if you want SortSentry to run after you sign into Windows.
Restore Pro
Sign into the Microsoft Store app with the account used for your purchase, then select Settings → Restore purchase in SortSentry. Microsoft Store processes payment. For billing or refund requests, use Microsoft billing support.
Before uninstalling
Restore any quarantined files you want to keep. Uninstalling may remove the app’s local storage, including quarantine files and the undo journal.
